ASK is a multi instrumental all-acoustic improvising sextet, comprising six musicians who have for many years been central to the Sheffield improvised music scene.

The group is stylistically very open, and a typical performance will include elements from improv, free jazz and folk.

Unafraid of including melody as well as abstraction in it's sound world, the group has found over the course of many performances that it's music can be appreciated both inside and outside the normal core audience for improvised music.
