Dave Tucker
Since making his first record with Mellatron in 1978, Tucker has performed and recorded with The Fall. In 1986 He moved to London to concentrate on Improvised music where he played with, John Stevens, Johnny Mbizo Dyani, Dudu Pukwana, Bobby Bradford & Phillip Wachsmann.
He then became a member of Alan Tomlinson's acclaimed trio with Roger Turner and played
Extensively throughout Europe as well as festival appearances in Sweden, Switzerland and
Germany. He is currently guitarist and conductor with the London Improvisers Orchestra as
Well as leading The School of velocity with Evan Parker, John Edwards & Steve Noble,
Super Solid Sound with Harry Becket, Pat Thomas & Orphy Robinson, amongst others.
In 2001 he toured California with Ernesto Diaz Infante, Damon Smith & Anna Homler and in
2002 toured Czech Republic with Ear Thieves. In November 2003 he toured Spain with Mick Beck and Paul Hession. In February 2004 he performed at the Seattle Improvised music festival With William Roper.
In 2005 He conducted Orchestras' in Wuppertal and with FOCA in Madrid.
